THE BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES | yes they’re vegan!



FULL RECIPE:

INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup vegan butter
1 cup sugar (brown, cane or coconut sugar)
1 tbsp vanilla
1/4 cup almond milk
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 to 1 cup dairy free chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS
Cream together the coconut oil, vegan butter and sugar. Add the vanilla and almond milk and stir carefully to combine. In a separate bow, combine the flour, baking soda and baking powder. Add the flour mixture to the wet mixture and stir until combined. I like to add half, stir it until combined and then add the other half to prevent the flour from getting all over the place. Stir in as much chocolate chips as you like. Scoop 1 tbsp size scoops onto a silicone mat or normal cookie sheet. Bake at 350 F for 8 minutes. (I usually do 8 but depending on a variety of factors they may need more or less time.) Enjoy warm with a glass of almond milk.
