I feel like stuffed crust is so overrated until I discovered Little Caesars, which is odd b/c their regular pizza taste like the box it comes in. This deep dish has an amazing light and airy dough with enough cheese to keep you poop free for the upcoming weeks ahead. So if you want to wow your family, friends or significant other, this recipe just might do that maybe. You’re welcome!

Deep Deep Pizza
355 Calories per Slice
8 Slices per Pizza

Prep: 10 minutes
1st Bake @ 500°F: 15 minutes
2nd Bake: 10 minutes
Broil: 2 minutes
• 9×13 Inch Baking Pan:

• ~ 18 oz Pizza Dough
• 2 Cups Mozzarella Cheese
• 6 String Cheese Rods
• Pizza Sauce
• 24 Pepperonis
• Crisco or Coconut Oil

Pizza Sauce:
• 12 oz Can Tomato Paste
• 1-1/2 Cups Water
• 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
• 1/4 tsp Dried Basil
• 1/4 tsp Salt
• 1/4 tsp Pepper
• 1/4 tsp Sugar
• 1/8 tsp garlic powder
• 1/8 tsp onion powder
• 1/8 tsp MSG

1.) If you buy store bought dough, simply spread it out onto a greased 9×13″ baking pan. If you make it yourself, spread out half the amount of dough and let it rise overnight in the pan.

2.) Once the dough has spread out onto the sides, place approximately 6 string cheese sticks around the perimeter of the pan and stretch the dough over and tuck under the cheese sticks.

3.) For the sauce, combine tomato paste & water, bring to a boil then add in the seasonings and let simmer for 35-40 minutes. This is simply to allow the flavors to come together. OR buy store bought pizza sauce.

4.) We decided to spread the sauce on the dough before baking to keep the dough moist.

5.) Bake @ 500°F for 15 minutes.

6.) Spread on 2 Cups of Mozzarella Cheese & 24 Pepperonis and bake again for 10 minutes.

7.) Finish it off with a broil on top and you’re done!
